Building your own network is the same daily grind as posting to Social Networks but that's only in the beginning stages. When you've built up a network that you own, you can monetize it in so many ways that you can afford to hire staff to manage it for you, eventually.

Partnering with someone with a network is somewhat better, you share the day-to-day work load so you don't work as much, but you don't usually own the network.
